The detour is
temporary.
The bridge construction in Machias has made it harder to get to the local businesses we all depend on. But those businesses are still open, still serving the community, and still need our support. This giveaway is our way of making it worth the extra drive — and reminding everyone that the Bold Coast takes care of its own.

Giveaway runs April 1 through April 30, 2026. One winner drawn May 1.
Main entry requires liking, following, and commenting on the giveaway post on the Beyond Bold Tourism Facebook page.
Bonus entries are earned by uploading receipts from local Machias area businesses via this page. Each receipt = one additional entry.
Receipts must be dated April 1–30, 2026 to qualify.
Open to Washington County residents. Must have entered on Facebook to be eligible for the prize.
Prize is $200 in local gift cards. Winner will be contacted via email or Facebook message.
